The paper demonstrates the possibility of using a laboratory model with an electronically regulated pump for educational purposes. The model was built for the purpose of a more detailed insight into the operating parameters of the electronically regulated pump under different operating conditions, that is, at different resistance values of the pipe installation. In the introductory part of the paper, the basic characteristics and principle of operation of electronically controlled pumps are presented, and a laboratory model with an electronically controlled pump is described. In the practical part of the work, the measured values of the delivery height, volume flow and electric power are presented in different modes of pump operation, such as three different constant speeds, p constant, p variable, and "Dynamic Adapt plus" mode of work. Different operating conditions of the pump are simulated by changing the degree of opening of the control valve, i.e. by changing the value of the local losses on the control valve.
