Abstract
Upravljanje troškovima predstavlja poseban segment poslovanja i upravljanje poduzećem kojemu je fokus na kontroli troškova, a svrha mu je održavanje konkurentnosti. Troškovi se moraju procjenjivati i kontrolirati cijelo vrijeme, a cilj je da budu u okvirima planiranog budžeta. Trošak predstavlja novac kojeg se trebamo odreći kako bi se ostvario nekakav cilj. Hotelijerstvo spada pod ugostiteljsku djelatnost koja se bavi prodajom i pružanjem usluga smještaja za boravak, prehrane, točenja pića turistima te poslovnim ljudima u privatnim kategoriziranim smještajnim prostorima. Naglasak je na zadovoljavanju potreba kupaca usluga koje hotel pruža. Troškovi u hotelijerstvu su neuskladištivi i oni terete rashode. Troškovi, na kraju, imaju utjecaj na poslovni rezultat tekuće godine te ih je bitno dobro poznavati i prepoznati kako bi se moglo što kvalitetnije izvršiti poslovanje.
Abstract (english)
Managing expenses represents a special segment of the business and administration of a company, which focuses on controlling expenses to maintain competitiveness. The expenses must be assessed and controlled the entire time to stay within the planned budget. The expense represents the money that must be renounced to reach a goal. Hospitality is a business that sells and offers services of accommodation, food, drinks to the local population, tourists, and business people in categorized accommodation space. The accent is on satisfying the needs of the customers that the accommodation offers. Expenses in the hospitality industry are non-storable and they burden the total expenditure. Expenses, at last, have an impact on the business result of the ongoing year and it is of great importance to understand and recognize them well in order to conduct the business with the best possible quality.
