Every company faces a large number of different risks / causes of the crisis that affect the fulfillment of its goals. The scope of the business crisis can be seen as a threat to existential goals, parts of business, business processes, etc. The analysis of financial statements through financial indicators provides information about the positive or negative business of the company in a given period. The data obtained in this way, extended to the external aspects of business, provide an opportunity for management to successfully manage the business crisis with the adopted strategy and management style. For the purposes of the analysis, key financial indicators of liquidity, profitability and indebtedness were used on a sample of selected companies in the period from 2015 to 2020. Based on the collected data and the calculations obtained through financial indicators, an insight into the impact of the business crisis on the business performance of the company will be obtained. The symptoms and consequences of the crisis are visible in the obtained calculations, the more pronounced the crisis situation, the clearer its signs. For the survival of the company, it is necessary to have a quality crisis management, and a well-developed plan of activities in these situations in order to successfully manage the business crisis.
