Abstract
Obveznice (bonds, engl.) predstavljaju osnovnu vrstu dugoročnih dužničkih vrijednosnih papira, što znači da imatelju obveznice, u određenom roku, pripada pravo na povrat određenog iznosa glavnice i pripadajuće kamate. U pravilu obveznice su vrijednosni papiri koji svojim vlasnicima daju fiksne prinose, odnosno kamate. Upravo zbog toga su one dobra investicija za investitore. Kupnjom obveznica investitori mogu kreditirati organe državne uprave, korporacije i druge izdavatelje. Obveznice izdaju državne institucije kao što su HNB, Ministarstvo financija Republike Hrvatske, Državna agencija za osiguranje štednih uloga, ali i dionička društva, koja na taj način dolaze do financijskih sredstava potrebnih za poslovanje, a da pritom ne mijenjaju svoju vlasničku strukturu.
Abstract (english)
Bonds represent the main kind of long-term debt value papers, which means that to the owner of the bond after a certain amount of time is entitled to a refund of a certain part of principal and a corresponding interest. Essentially bonds are papers which hold value and bring to the owner a fixed income respectively interests. That is why they are such a good investment for an investor. By purchasing bonds investors are capable of financing state administration bodies, corporations and other issuers. Bonds are issued by state institutions such as HNB ( Croatian national bank), Ministry of finance of the Republic of Croatia, State deposit insurance agency, along with joint stock companies which in such a way get funding necessary for business, without in the meantime changing their owner structure.
