Abstract
Obveznice su važan instrument za prikupljanje financijskih sredstava, kako za državu tako i za općine, gradove te poduzeća. Obveznice za emitenta predstavljaju dug, a za vlasnika potraživanje. Vlasnik obveznice za financijski odnos dobiva kamatu, a osim ka mate može na tržištu ostvariti i kapitalni dobitak ili gubitak. Državne obveznice predstavljaju se kao najsigurnije obveznice za investitore koji izbjegavaju rizik, ali državne obveznice nisu imune na promjenu cijena na tržištu. Velik utjecaj na državne obveznice imaju svjetske financijske agencije za određivanje dugoročnog kreditnog rejtinga i to Moody´s, Fitch te Standard & Poor ' s. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati karakteristike i vrste obveznica, terminologiju povezanu sa obveznicama te proces vrednovanja različitih tipova obveznica.
Abstract (english)
Bonds are an important instrument for raising funds, both for the state and for municipalities, cities and companies. Bonds represent debt for the issuer and receivables for the owner. The owner of a bond for financial relations receives interest, and in addition to interest, he can also make a capital gain or loss on the market. Government bonds are presented as the safest bonds for risk-averse investors, but government bonds are not immune to market price changes. Moody's, Fitch's and Standard & Poor's have a major influence on government bonds to determine long-term credit ratings. The aim of this paper is to present the characteristics and types of bonds, including the terminology associated with the bonds and the process of evaluating different types of bonds.
