Abstract
Zadatak ovog završnog rada je dizajn i realizacija višeposlužiteljskog modela pomoću kojeg će se distribuirati web aplikacija. Sam dio realizacije sastoji se od instalacije i podešavanja virtualnih strojeva, izrade centralne pohrane i konfiguracije mreže i aplikacija. Kroz ovaj rad prvotno će se objasniti korištene tehnologije te kronološkim redom postupak realizacije. Također, biti će vidljiva upotreba i rad s tehnologijom kontejneriziranih aplikacija (eng. container applications) pomoću koje će biti realizirano nekoliko ključnih dijelova praktičnog dijela rada poput raspodjele opterećenja (eng. load balancing) i web poslužitelja. Cilj ovog rada je pokazati značaj i način rada višeposlužiteljskog modela te što vjernije prikazati kako izgleda i radi arhitektura visoko dostupnih sustava s centralnom pohranom. Također, prikazane su mogućnosti koje pruža tehnologija kontejnera te će se pomoću testiranja modela prikazati usporedni rezultati brzine odaziva s web aplikacijom u jedno poslužiteljskom modelu.
Abstract (english)
The task of this final exam is to design and implement a multiserver model that will distribute a web application. Part of the implementation consists of the installation and setup of virtual machines, the creation of central storage and configuration of the network and applications. Through this work, the technologies used will be initially explained and in chronological order, the process of realization. Also, the use and operation of containerized container technology will be visible and implemented in several parts of the practical part of the work such as load balancing and web servers. The goal of this paper is to show the importance and mechaninics of the multiple server model and to show architecture of high availability systems with central storage. Also, the capabilities of container technology are presented, and comparative results of response time with a web application in a single server model will be displayed using benchmark testing.
