Tourism market represents a set of supply-demand relationships in the area of services and goods which serve for satisfying tourist needs on certain area, respectively ratio between supply and demand which occurs under influence of tourism flows. Thereby it is important to differentiate outbound and inbound tourism markets. Outbound tourism market is part of tourism market on which is touristic demand concentrated, while inbound tourism market is part of market on which touristic supply is concentrated. Aim of this paper is to theoreticaly explain on the example of Germany, as most significant outbound tourism market in Republic of Croatia, is to analyse features and motives of german tourism demand. These kinds of analysis are important so marketing actions which are undertaken on significant outbound tourism markets with the purpose of attracting potential tourism demands, can adapt completely to motives and features of tourists to achieve success.
