Abstract
Cikloturizam dobiva sve veći značaj kao oblik sportskog turizma te privlači relativno novi segment turista kojima omogućuje jedinstveni turistički doživljaj destinacije korištenjem bicikla kao primarnog oblika transporta. Područje Hrvatske raspolaže atraktivnim prirodnim i važnim kulturnim resursima, koji uz povoljnu klimu čine odlične preduvjete za razvoj ovakvog oblika turizma. Ipak, za uspješan razvoj cikloturizma se ne može osloniti na samo jedan segment cikloturizma jer cikloturisti traže samo one destinacije koje su kompletno razvijene. Iz tog razloga, ovo će istraživanje biti od koristi u vidu sagledavanja postojećeg stanja cikloturističke ponude u splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji, SWOT analize koja će ukazati na prednosti, nedostatke, prijetnje i mogućnosti.
Abstract (english)
Cyclotourism is getting greater significance as a form of sport tourism which attracts a relatively new segment of tourists that allow a unique tourist experience of the destination by using bicycles as the primary forms of transport. Croatia, as touristic destination, has attractive natural and important cultural resources, which, with the favorable climate, make excellent prerequisites for the development that form of tourism. However, for the successful development of cyclotourism, it's not good to rely to just one segment of cyclotourism, because cyclotourists are looking for only those destinations that have been fully developed. For this reason, this research will be of use in assessing the existing state of cyclotouristic supply of the county, and SWOT analysis will be done and it will point to the advantages, disadvantages, threats and opportunities.
