Abstract
Ovaj rad detaljno objašnjava princip rada nuklearnih elektrana, razmatra njihove prednosti i mane te uspoređuje nuklearne elektrane s drugim vrstama elektrana. U suvremenom kontekstu, nuklearne elektrane nude novu alternativu za proizvodnju električne energije. Ova metoda proizvodnje je znatno povoljnija za okoliš u usporedbi s drugim vrstama elektrana i zbog svoje ekonomske učinkovitosti i niske razine otpada postala je ključna opcija za mnoge razvijene zemlje.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis the way nuclear power plants work is described, their positive and negative impacts and a comparison is highlighted between nuclear power plants and other types of power plants. Nuclear power plants in the modern age represent a new alternative way of generating electrical energy. This type of generating of electrical energy is suitable for the environment much more than other types of power plants, and, due to its affordability and low level of waste it has become the main type of generating energy in many countries of the western hemisphere.
