Abstract
Budžetiranje kapitala je postupak donošenja odluka o dugoročnim investicijama u realnu poslovnu imovinu poduzeća. Uključuje prognozu novčanih tokova i ocjenu njihove financijske efikasnosti primjenom kriterija financijskog odlučivanja ugrađenih u brojne metode budžetiranja kapitala. Temeljna karakteristika investicijskih projekata je dugoročno vezivanje novca u nenovčane oblike fiksne imovine i u povećanju obrtnih sredstava. Izvještaj o novčanom toku daje informaciju o priljevu i odljevu novca tijekom određenog razdoblja i pruža informaciju o tome na koji način poduzeće stvara novac i kako ga troši. Novčani tok investicijskog projekta daje odgovore na pitanja ima li projekt ekonomskog smisla i kako ćemo financirati projekt.
Abstract (english)
Capital budgeting is a decision-making process for long-term investments in real business assets of a company. It includes forecasting cash flows and evaluating their financial performance by applying financial decision-making criteria embedded in numerous capital budgeting methods. A fundamental feature of investment projects is the long-term pegging of money into nonmonetary forms of fixed assets and in increasing working capital. The cash flow statement provides us with information about the inflow and outflow of money over a period of time and provides information on how the company generates money and how it is spent.The cash flow of an investment project gives us answers to the questions of whether the project makes economic sense and how we will fund the project.
