Abstract
U ovom završnom radu prikazana su obilježja grada Sinja i njegove turističke privlačnosti. Opisan je grad Sinj kroz njegovu povijest, kao i geoprometna i geostrateška važnost, prometna infrastruktura, klimatska obilježja te kulturno povijesna baština. Glavni fokus je usmjeren na analizu turističke perspektive grada Sinja te potencijalne mogućnosti razvoja turizma u Sinju i njegovoj okolici. Prirodno-geografska i povijesna obilježja čine grad Sinj poželjnim turističkim mjestom. Uz navedena obilježja, veliki je broj kulturnih atrakcija koje privlače turiste poput utvrde Kamičak, tvrđave Stari grad i brojnih drugih znamenitosti, muzeja i galerija. Grad Sinj krase i mnoge manifestacije od kojih je najpoznatija Sinjska Alka, a pored toga može se pohvaliti i bogatom gastronomskom ponudom koja uključuje autohtona jela kojima pripadaju sinjski arambašići, uštipci i pršut. U gradu prevladavaju privatni smještaji dok je hotelski smještaj oskudan i svodi se na jedan hotel. U kontekstu statističkih podataka prikazani su dosadašnji rezultati te trenutno stanje turističke ponude koja, iako je napredovala od prošlog desetljeća, ima još puno mjesta za napredak.
Abstract (english)
This final paper presents features of Sinj and its tourist attractions. The Sinj is described through its history, as well as its geo-traffic and geo-strategic importance, transport infrastructure, climatic features and cultural-historical heritage. The main focus is on the analysis of the tourism perspective of the Sinj and the potential development of tourism. Sinj is ideal touristic place thanks to naturally-geographical and historical features. Besides that, there is a big number of cultural attractions that attracts tourists in the city, such as Kamičak fortress, Old city fortress and lots of others attractions, museums and galleries. There are many manifestations and the most famous is Sinj's ring and Sinj also has gastronomic supply2 which include autochthonous dishes such as Sinj's arambašići, fritters and prosciutto. There is big number of private accommodation and only one hotel. Statistical data shows development current situation in Sinj's tourism that developed form the last century but there is a lot of space for improvement.
