In this paper analyzes the concept of hybrid wind-solar power plants (HWSP) as a key component of advanced energy systems aimed at transitioning towards a more sustainable future. The emphasis is on the integration of wind and solar energy as two complementary sources of renewable energy, which enables more efficient and reliable electricity production. This paper thoroughly examines optimization strategies such as production forecasting, optimization, and management of individual parts of the grid. These methods are utilized to maximize the production and efficiency of hybrid wind-solar power plants (HWSP), including energy management methods and storage technologies. Additionally, the management of this complex system is considered, including the variability of weather conditions and technical integration issues. This paper also analyzes the impact of the combination of wind power plants and solar power plants on the stability of electric power grids, with a particular focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the global energy sector. Furthermore, this paper examines the economic and ecological advantages of such systems, including their role in achieving sustainable development goals.
