Abstract
Vjetroturbine postavljene na moru koriste energija vjetra na moru za proizvodnju električne energije. Ove vjetroturbine mogu biti instalirane u plitkim vodama na fiksnim strukturama ili u dubljim vodama na plutajućim platformama. Offshore vjetroelektrane predstavljaju ključnu tehnologiju u proizvodnji obnovljivih izvora energije s mora. Različiti tipovi offshore vjetroelektrana imaju specifične prednosti i primjene, ovisno o uvjetima okoliša, tehnologiji i financijskim aspektima. U ovom završnom radu detaljno je obrađen pojam vjetroelektrane na otvorenom moru. Drugo poglavlje rada usmjereno je na povijesni razvoj vjetroelektrana, kao i na opis dizajna vjetroelektrane. Treće poglavlje daje uvid u osnovne statistike vjetra te iskoristivosti snage vjetra. U glavnom dijelu rada, odnosno u četvrtom poglavlju, izvršena je analiza dva tipa offshore vjetroelektrana, pri čemu su prikazane njihove razlike u pogledu izgleda, konstrukcije temelja, održavanja te drugih relevantnih aspekata. Također su opisani dijelovi postrojenja poput trafostanice, generatora, kablova kao i sami proces instalacije i logistike. Završno poglavlje rada sadrži zaključak u kojem su sažeta sva otkrića i rezultati prikazani u ovom istraživanju.
Abstract (english)
Wind energy at sea uses offshore wind turbines to generate electricity. These turbines can be installed in shallow waters on fixed structures or in deeper waters on floating platforms. Offshore wind farms are a key technology for generating renewable energy from the ocean. Different types of offshore wind farms have specific advantages and applications, depending on environmental conditions, technology, and financial considerations. This thesis goes into great detail about the idea of offshore wind farms. The design of wind turbines and the evolution of wind farms historically are covered in the second chapter. An overview of fundamental wind statistics and wind power utilization is given in the third chapter. The fourth chapter, which serves as the thesis's main body, examines two different kinds of offshore wind farms and identifies how they differ in terms of appearance, foundation design, upkeep, and other factors. Furthermore, the installation process and logistics, along with elements like generators, cables, and substations, are detailed. The concluding chapter provides a summary of all the findings and results outlined in the thesis.
