A crisis situation arises due to an imbalance within the otherwise normal operations of the company. A negative change in one of the companies divisions can cause a wave of changes in other parts as well. The goal of crisis management team is to detect such changes in time so there is no further escalations of the situation. Crisis management has to find the source of the crisis to collect enough information to create a plan which is supposed to neutralise the crisis as soon and as efficiently as possible so the company can emerge from the crisis without receiving much damage. Boeing, the famous aircraft manufacturer, has been going through a terrible crisis since 2018 after a long period of success. That same crisis was worsened by a similar case which happened in 2019. The main causes of the accidents were Boeings poor communication skills between the staff and the usage of a system which did not undergo proper testing. With these actions Boeing lost the long-term trust clients, regulators and public had in them and they endangered their position on the market. Boeing is still facing the consequences of the crisis and its development is being slowed down by problems in the companies organization which still exist regardless of all changes Boeing tried to make.
