Abstract
Procjena vrijednosti vlasničkog kapitala poduzeća ključna je komponenta financijske analize koja omogućava investitorima, menadžerima i drugim zainteresiranim stranama donošenje informiranih odluka o ulaganjima i strategijama rasta. U ovom završnom radu fokus će biti na procjeni vrijednosti vlasničkog kapitala Tesla Inc., jednog od najinovativnijih i najutjecajnijih proizvođača električih vozila i tehnologija obnovljivih izvora energije na svijetu. Financijska analiza predstavlja temelj za razumijevanje poslovanja poduzeća, a njezine ključne komponente obuhvaćaju analizu financijskih izvještaja, procjenu izvora financiranja, te korištenje različitih metoda vrednovanja, te računanje prosječnog ponderiranog troška kapitala (WACC) i diskontirani novčani tokovi (DCF). Opisat će se povijest razvoja poduzeća Tesla Inc. te analiza njegove konkurentske pozicije na tržištu električnih vozila. Usporedba financijskih performansi Tesle u posljednje tri godine pružit će uvid u trendove rasta i izazove s kojima se suočava, dok će predviđanja za budućnost pomoći u razumijevanju potencijalnih smjerova razvoja. Cilj ovog rada je pružiti sveobuhvatan pregled financijskog stanja Tesle Inc. i omogućiti čitateljima da bolje razumiju izazove i prilike povezane s procjenom vrijednosti vlasničkog kapitala Tesle Inc.
Abstract (english)
The valuation of a company`s is a crucial component of financial analysis, enabling investitors, menagers, and other stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding investments and growth strategies. This thesis will focus on the valuation of Tesla Inc.`s equity, one of the most innovative and influential manufacturers of electric vehicles and renewable energy in the world. Financial analysis forms the foundation for understanding a company`s operations, with its key components encompassing the analysis of financial statements, assessment of funding sources, and the application of various valuation methods such as the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) and Discounted Cash Flows (DCF). This thesis will describe the historical development of Tesla Inc., and analyze its competitive position in the electric vehicle market. A comparison of Tesla`s financial performance over the past three years will provide insight into growth trends and challenges the company faces, while future forecasts will help understand potential development directions. The goal of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of Tesla Inc.`s financial status and enable readers to better understand the challenges and opportunities associated with valuing Tesla Inc.`s equity.
