Abstract
Upravljanje lancem opskrbe predstavlja značajan izazov s kojima se susreću današnja poduzeća budući da predstavlja ključni način za postizanje konkurentske prednosti maloprodavača u izrazito konkurentnom maloprodajnom okruženju. Upravljanje lancem opskrbe predstavlja sva poduzeća i poslovne aktivnosti potrebne kako bi se isporučio proizvod ili usluga, gdje značajan utjecaj na njegovu učinkovitost imaju logistika, dobavljači, upravljanje zalihama i primjena tehnologije. Konkurentska prednost u maloprodaji predstavlja ono što izdvaja poduzeće od konkurencije, a čimbenici koji utječu na konkurentsku prednost su lokacija maloprodajnog mjesta, primjena tehnoloških inovacija, dubina i širina asortimana te strategija troškovnog vodstva. Na primjeru upravljanja lancem opskrbe poduzeća Walmart i 7-Eleven može se vidjeti koliko učinkovitost upravljanja lancem opskrbe utječe na njihovo poslovanje čineći ih liderima u maloprodaji.
Abstract (english)
Supply chain management represents a significant challenge that todays companies are facing as it is a essential method for retailers to achieve a competitive advantage in the highly competitive retail domain. Supply chain management represents all the companies and business activities necessary to deliver a product or service, where logistics, suppliers,inventory management and the implementation of technology have a significant impact on it's effectiveness of. Competitive advantage in retail represents what sets a company apart from its competitors, and the factors that influence competitive advantage are the location of the retail outlet, the implementation of technological innovations, the depth and breadth of the assortment and the cost leadership strategy. In the example of the supply chain management of Walmart and 7-Eleven it can be seen how the effectiveness of supply chain management affects their business and how that makes them the leaders in the retail.
