Abstract
Republika Hrvatska ima sve predispozicije za obavljanje djelatnosti nautičkog turizma. Geografski položaj, povoljna lokacija, mnoštvo otoka i otočića, čisto more, bogato kulturno i povijesno nasljeđe, te bogatstvo flore i faune, čine Republiku Hrvatsku idealnim kandidatom za odmor i rekreaciju na ovom dijelu Sredozemlja. Prirodni resursi nisu dovoljni za daljnji razvitak nautičkog turizma. Naime, Republika Hrvatska ima veliki problem sa otpadom u lukama i marinama, a najveći problem je manjak vezova u istima. Ipak nautički turizam Republici Hrvatskoj donosi značajne prihode, te pomaže povećanju posjećenosti destinacije. Temeljem analize u ovom istraživačkom radu, može se zaključiti kako trenutno Republika Hrvatska ne može konkurirati ponudom velikim „igračima“ kao što su Španjolska i Francuska, te mora dodatno poraditi na razvoju svojih proizvoda, usluga i marketinga u nautičkom sektoru.
Abstract (english)
The Republic of Croatia has all the predispositions to carry out nautical tourism activities. Geographical position, favorable location, numerous islands and islets, clear sea, rich cultural and historical heritage, and wealth of flora and fauna make the Republic of Croatia an ideal candidate for vacation and recreation in this part of the Mediterranean. Natural resources are not sufficient for the further development of nautical tourism. Namely, the Republic of Croatia has a big problem with waste in ports and marinas, and the biggest problem is the lack of moorings in them. Nevertheless, nautical tourism brings significant income to the Republic of Croatia and helps to increase the number of visitors to the destination. Based on the analysis in this research paper, it can be concluded that currently the Republic of Croatia cannot compete with the offer of big "players" such as Spain and France, and must work additionally on the development of its products, services and marketing in the nautical sector.
