Abstract
Svaki put kada se utroši imovina ili pruže usluge koje su korištene u svrhu postizanja određenog cilja nastaje trošak. Trošak predstavlja važan čimbenik koji utječe na dobit poduzeća, ali i važan aspekt prilikom određivanja isplativosti pokretanja novog procesa. Nezaobilazno područje u poslovanju svakog poduzeća u kojem se želi ostvariti određeni cilj i održati konkurentnost poslovanja je upravljanje troškovima. Drugim riječima, ono obuhvaća planiranje, procjenu i kontrolu troškova koje pokazuju ponašanje troškova u raznim okolnostima pa tako i u izazovnoj promjeni do tad nepoznatog virusa COVID-19 s kojim se svjetska ekonomija suočila u prvom kvartalu 2020. godine. Virus je uzrokovao globalnu pandemiju i uvelike utjecao na mnogo sektora diljem svijeta, tražeći brzu prilagodbu upravljanja troškovima kako bi poduzeća opstala u novonastaloj kriznoj situaciji.
Abstract (english)
Every time assets are consumed or services provided that were used to achieve a specific goal, an expense is incurred. Cost is an important factor that impact the company's profit, but also an important aspect when detrmining the profitability of starting a new process. An indispensable area in the business of every company that wants to achieve a certain goal and maintain business competitiveness is cost management. In other words, it includes planning, estimating and controlling costs that show the trend of costs in various circumstances, including in the challenging change of the previously unknown virus COVID-19 which the world economy faced in the first quarter of 2020. Virus have caused a global pandemic and greatly affected many sectors around the world, requiring rapid adjustment of cost management in order for companies to survive in the emerging crisis situation.
