The use of robots in branches of modern industry is becoming more and more common, it is almost impossible to imagine a production facility without the presence of robots. Robotic assistance has greatly facilitated the work of people and accelerated the production process, and precisely for this reason, the robotics industry is developing and improving to higher levels. In this paper, we will present our robot located in the laboratory and its work together with its characteristics, functions and the way it is controlled. In order to perform the task, it is necessary to create a program so that the robot knows what operation is being performed and how it should be performed. In this work, a PICK and PLACE application was created, which is often used in practice today to transfer objects. The method of communication between the robot and the PLC is also shown. The PLC performs mathematical and logical operations which, after conversion, represent commands in the form of variables to the robot. After creating the correct program and connecting the robot to the PLC, we will show the work with the HMI interface, it is a device through which we can monitor and manage the process performed by the robot through the PC station, and it will be shown how it is edited.
