Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada je upoznati se s pojmom menadžerske etike i društvene odgovornosti. Kako vrijeme prolazi sve veći broj poduzeća, kako u svijetu tako i u Hrvatskoj, postaje sve svjesniji važnosti etičkog i društveno odgovornog poslovanja, te ga koristi za postizanje konkurentske prednosti i stvaranje pozitivne slike o svom poduzeću u široj javnosti. Etičko poslovanje i donošenje odluka na etički način upravo je ono što u današnje vrijeme razlikuje uspješna od neuspješnih poduzeća, a menadžeri su ti koji su zaduženi za donošenje odluka koje su etičke za zaposlenike, različite utjecajno-interesne skupine, te društvo u cjelini. Društvena odgovornost predstavlja relativno noviji pojam u poslovnom svijetu koji je nastao kao reakcija društva u pogledu zaštite okoliša i stvaranja društva koje je socijalno prihvatljivo različitim interesnim skupinama.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to get acquainted with the concept of managerial ethics and social responsibility. As time passes, more and more companies, worldwide companies and Croatian companies, become more aware of the importance of ethical and socially responsible business, and use it to achieve competitive advantage and create a positive image of their company in the general public. Ethical business and ethical decision-making is exactly what distinguishes successful from unsuccessful companies nowadays, and managers are in charge of making ethical decisions for employees, various stakeholders, and society as a whole. Social responsibility is a relatively new concept in the business world that emerged as a reaction of society to environmental protection and the creation of a society that is socially acceptable to different stakeholders.
