Abstract
Temeljni cilj analize financijskih izvještaja je pravilna interpretacija financijskih izvještaja, na način da objektivno procijeni stvarni financijski položaj i uspješnost poduzeća, te da se provedenom analizom kreiraju informacije relevantne za donošenje poslovnih odluka. Naglasak je na svladavanju primjene različitih analitičkih sredstava i tehnika s pomoću kojih se podaci iz financijskih izvještaja pretvaraju u upotrebljive informacije relevantne za kvalitetno upravljanje i vrednovanje stanja poduzeća, kao i dijagnosticiranje poslovnih problema. Da bi to bilo moguće, potrebno je naučiti promatrati kreirane informacije u širem kontekstu, kako bi se moglo ocijeniti stanje poduzeća u odnosu na njemu slične, prosjek djelatnosti kojoj pripada, te cjelovito ekonomsko okruženje u kojem poduzeće djeluje.
Abstract (english)
The fundamental goal of financial statement analysis is the correct interpretation of financial statements, in such a way as to objectively assess the actual financial position and performance of the company, and to create information relevant for making business decisions through the analysis. The emphasis is on mastering the application of various analytical tools and techniques with which data from financial statements are transformed into usable information relevant for quality management and evaluation of the company's condition, as well as diagnosing busin ess problems. In order for this to be possible, it is necessary to learn to observe the created information in a wider context, in order to be able to evaluate the state of the company in relation to similar ones, the average of the industry to which it belongs, and the complete economic environment in which the company operates.
