Abstract
U ovom radu opisana je Amazon Web Services arhitektura u oblaku, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) usluga, te osnovne prednosti koje pružaju moderne cloud platforme u odnosu na „onpremise“ rješenje. Opisana je arhitektura Zabbix sustava za nadzor, te njegove pojedinačne komponente, i postupak instalacije poslužiteljske i klijentske programske podrške, kao i osnovna konfiguracija. Prikazani su dashboardi, web-sučelje, te instalacija i konfiguracija Zabbix sustava za nadzor. Također, navedene su neke komparativne prednosti Zabbix sustava u odnosu na druge sustave za nadzor.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the architecture of Amazon Web Services in the cloud, the Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) service, and the basic advantages that a modern cloud platform provides compared to an "on-premise" solution. The architecture of the Zabbix monitoring system and its individual components, the installation procedure of server and client program support, as well as the basic configuration are described. The dashboards, web interface, and installation and configuration of the Zabbix monitoring system are shown. Also, some comparative advantages of the Zabbix system compared to other monitoring systems are listed.
