Abstract
Reverzibilna hidroelektrana Velebit, RHE može raditi u generatorskom i motornom režimu. To je reverzibilno proizvodno postrojenje. U generatorskom režimu proizvodi snagu 276 MW (megavata) i 240 MW u motornom režimu rada. Nalazi se u donjem toku rijeke Zrmanje, gdje je donji bazen Razovac, dok se gornji bazen Štikada nalazi na gračačkoj zaravni s druge strane planine Velebit, na visini od 550 do 700 m nadmorske visine. U ovom radu će se navesti i objasniti sastav, princip rada, te remont jednog od dva agregata navedene reverzibilne hidroelektrane. Osim proizvodnje električne energije, RHE Velebit ima mogućnost crpnog režima rada, što znači da je moguće „spremanje“ (akumuliranje) viška proizvedene električne energije. To je izvedivo zato što višak energije iz klasičnih elektrana na fosilna goriva, protočnih hidroelektrana, energije proizvedene iz vjetroelektrana i drugih obnovljivih izvora koristi kako bi vodu iz donje akumulacije vratila u gornju akumulaciju.
Abstract (english)
The Reversible Hydroelectric power plant Velebit (RHE) can operate in generator and motor mode. It is a reversible production plant. In generator mode it produces power of 276 MW (megawatt) and 240 MW in motor mode. It is located in the lower course of the river Zrmanja where the lower Razovac basin was formed, while the upper Štikada basin is located on the Gračac plateau on the other side of the Velebit mountain, at an altitude of 550 to 700 m above sea level. This paper will state and explain the composition, working principle, and overhaul of one of the two aggregates of the reversible hydroelectric power plant. In addition to electricity generation, RHE Velebit has the possibility of pumping mode, which means "storing" (accumulating) excess produced electricity. This is feasible because the excess energy from conventional fossil fuel power plants, flow hydropower, energy produced from wind farms and other renewable sources is used to return water from the lower reservoir to the upper reservoir.
