Infrared thermographic is a sophisticated tool that measures temperature and its distribution on the body surface by analyzing the obtained images (thermograms). There is a difference between the operation of active and passive thermographic, with the effects of electromagnetic radiation on materials and their properties. Active thermographic is applied in the aerospace, automotive, electrical and medical industries. The thermal imaging camera measures and displays the thermal energy radiated by an object. Anybody that has a temperature higher than absolute zero produces infrared radiation. Thermal imaging cameras enable the visibility of invisible infrared radiation. The FLIR-E6390 thermal imaging camera was used in this paper. It is suitable for recording almost all temperatures, and is considered a high-quality camera. Three experiments with all explanations of what was done will be described. Temperature measurements of electric motors, cables and resistors of different values will be performed. The entire measurement will be explained in this paper.
