Tourism is a very important activity in the economy of our country, in recent years tourism development has become very dynamic. Its quality development is not possible without an effective human resources development policy. New tourist trends affect the professional development of staff and innovation of knowledge of tourism workers. A special role in the development of tourism and raising its quality have management staff. In order to ensure the maximum benefit from tourism and the realization of all its potentials, it is necessary to create a climate and preconditions at the state level in order for this branch of the economy to grow. The purpose of this thesis is to define all activities that are the task of the human resources management function as well as to present the same activities on a concrete example and to complete the meaning of the same through personnel standards. The goal is to understand the importance of employees in the hotel business as the only living elements of the organization, as well as the need for proper management of all human resources.
