Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je opisati unapređenja 4G mobilnih komunikacijskih mreža u odnosu na 3G mreže. Veliki napredak u povezivanju korisnika te sve više rastućim brojem dostupnih mobilnih uređaja uvjetovana je evolucija te napredovanje komunikacijskih tehnologija i generacija. Počevši od 1G tehnologije pa sve do današnje 5G tehnologije, istim korakom je napredovala arhitektura, povezanost te prijenosne brzine i pokrivenost. Današnji život je nezamisliv bez mobilnih tehnologija. Upravo zato je potrebno znati njihovu povijest kako bi znali što očekivati od budućnosti razvoja komunikacijskih mreža.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to describe the improvements of 4G mobile communication networks compared to 3G networks. Great progress in connecting users and the increasing number of mobile devices available is conditioned by evolution and advancement of communication technologies and generations. Starting from the 1G technology all the way to today's 5G technology, the architecture, connectivity, transmission speeds and coverage have all advanced exponentially. Today's life would be unimaginable without mobile technologies and thats the exact reason why we should know the history and to know what to expect from the future of the development of communication networks.
