Abstract
Generacija Y poznata pod nazivom milenijalci je generacijska kohorta na koju su utjecali brojni socioekonomski faktori. Njihovo ponašanje u ulozi potrošača različito je od ponašanja prethodnih generacija. Visoka digitalna povezanost ove generacije utjecala je na njihova očekivanja od proizvoda. U današnjem svijetu bankarske usluge su potreba svakog potrošača i primorani su ih koristiti. Razvoj otvorenog bankarstva omogućio je potrošačima pristup bankarskim uslugama po povoljnijim cijenama od onih koje banke mogu ponuditi. Segmentacijom tržišta prema dobi potrošača banke mogu unaprijediti bankarske proizvode i usluge i privući mlađe generacije koje danas čine važan tržišni segment. Cilj ovog završnog rada je dobiti uvid u očekivanja, potrebe i zahtjeve za bankarskim uslugama milenijalaca.
Abstract (english)
Generation Y , also known as millennials is a generational cohort that was impacted by many socioeconomic factors. Their behaviour as a consumer is different from the behaviour of previous generations. High digital connectivity of this generation affected expectations of products. In today’s world banking services are a necessity of every consumer and they are bound to use them. Development of open banking enabled the consumers to gain access to more affordable banking services than the banks can offer. Market segmentation by age banks can advance banking products and services and attract younger generation who make an important market segment. The aim of this final paper is to get insight into expectations, needs and demands for banking services by millennials.
