Abstract
Hotelijerstvo je djelatnost koja se bavi pružanjem usluga smještaja, prodaje trgovačke robe, točenja pića, prehrane i rekreacije domicilnom stanovništvu i turistima motiviranim poslom te zabavom i obrazovanjem unutar kategoriziranih smještaja. Prateći potrebe i trendove na tržištu i sami hoteli moraju osuvremenjivati svoju opremu i ponudu. Sve veća isprepletenost tehnologije u brojne gospodarske djelatnosti ostavila je pečat i na hotelijerstvu. Implementacija suvremene ... More informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije u hotelskom poslovanju dovela je do pojave prvih pametnih hotela. Pametni hoteli podrazumijevaju tehnološki integrirane sustave pružanja ugostiteljskih usluga, čije se funkcioniranje temelji na novim informacijskim i komunikacijskim tehnologijama bilo samostalno ili uz pomoć ljudskih resursa. Primjena visokotehnoloških rješenja u poslovanju pametnih hotela najčešća je u rezervacijskim sustavima ali i u različitim uslugama vezanim uz boravak gosta u hotelu. Iako inovativni visokotehnološki koncepti predstavljaju budućnost hotelskog poslovanja informatizacija poslovanja treba poslužiti u svrhu olakšavanja i unaprjeđivanja poslovanja zaposlenika, a ne u cilju potpune zamjene istih. Hospitality is an activity that provides accommodation services, sales of merchandise, drinks, food and recreation to the domicile population and tourists motivated not only by work and entertainment but also education within categorized accommodation. Following the needs and trends of the market, the hotels themselves must modernize their equipment and offer. The growing intertwining of technology in numerous economic activities has left its mark on the hotel industry. The... More implementation of modern information and communication technology in the hotel business led to the emergence of the first smart hotels. Smart hotels mean technologically integrated systems of catering services, whose operation is based on new information and communication technologies either independently or with the help of human resources. The application of high-tech solutions in the business of smart hotels is most common in reservation systems, but also in various services related to the stay of a guest in a hotel. Although innovative high-tech concepts represent the future of the hotel business, business informatization should serve the purpose of facilitating and improving the business of employees, and not the purpose of their complete replacement.
