Abstract
Nedepozitne financijske institucije predstavljaju organizacije koje nude mnoge financijske usluge, ali nisu banke. Kao način prikupljanja sredstava nemaju privilegiju prikupljanja depozita te ne jamče za vrijednost investicija i ne pružaju bezuvjetno određenu kamatnu stopu. Štoviše, povrat ovisi o tome kako se ponaša ta temeljna investicija. Nedepozitne financijske institucije nude dodatne usluge kao što su: osiguravajuće aktivnosti, osiguravajuće pokriće, tržišna prodaja itd. Najvažniji financijski posrednici u većini zemalja su banke, ali je sve manji slučaj u financijskim sustavima koji su razvijeni. Nedepozitne financijske institucije dobivaju sve više na značenju i one preuzimaju dio dosadašnjeg bankovnog tržišta te na taj način označavaju napredak u daljnjem razvoju nacionalnih financijskih sustava. Neke od najvažnijih nedepozitnih institucija su: društva za osiguranje, investicijski fondovi, leasing društva, faktoring društva te mirovinski fondovi. Financijske institucije poput društava za osiguranje nude zaštitu od velikih i specifičnih gubitaka za koje se plaća premija osiguranja. Investicijski fondovi od brojnih ulagača prikupljaju novčana sredstva koja zatim usmjeravaju u razne financijske instrumente. Značenje društava za leasing sastoji se od povezivanja davatelja leasinga koji pribavlja objekt leasinga od dobavljača leasinga te temeljem ugovornog odnosa primatelju leasinga odobrava pravo korištenja toga objekta leasinga.
Abstract (english)
Non – deposit financial institutions are organizations that offer many financial services but are not banks. As a way of raising funds, they do not have the privilege of collecting deposits and do not guarantee the value of investments and do not provide an unconditionally determined interest rate. Instead, the return depends on how that underlying investment behaves. Non – deposit financial institutions offer additional services such as: insurance activities, insurance coverage, market sales, etc. The most important financial intermediaries in most countries are banks, but this is less the case in developed financial systems. Non – deposit financial institutions are gaining in importance and are taking over a part of the current banking market, thus marking progress in the further development of national financial systems. Some of the most important non – deposit institutions are: insurance companies, investment funds, leasing companies, factoring companies and pension funds. Financial institutions such as insurance companies offer protection against large and specific losses for which insurance premiums are paid. Investment funds collect funds from numerous investors, which they then direct to various financial instruments. The meaning of leasing companies consists of connecting producers and customers, and they actually represent the central entity and the main organizer in relation to the financing of the entire leasing business.
