Abstract
Rad se temelji na istraživanju važnosti poduzetničkih zona na ravnomjeran regionalni razvoj. Od njihovog prvog uspostavljanja, do danas, poduzetničke zone ostvarile su pozitivan utjecaj na gospodarski rast i razvoj u brojnim aspektima. One utječu na smanjenje nezaposlenosti, ulijevaju prihode u lokalne gradove i općine, podižu razinu stručnih znanja, pospješuju međusobnu komunikaciju i umrežavanje poduzetnika, potiču izvoz, omogućavaju veću prepoznatljivost, posebice manjih lokalnih samouprava. No, sama izgradnja i uspostavljanje poduzetničkih zona, u praksi krije i brojne nedostatke, poput lošeg planiranja, nesagledavanja potreba investitora, ograničenja po pitanju infrastrukture, loše opskrbljenosti električnom energijom i slično. Navedeni nedostaci prikazani su na primjeru poduzetničke zone 'Ravča' s područja Grada Vrgorca.
Abstract (english)
The paper is based on the research of the importance of entrepreneurial zones on balanced regional development. Since their first establishment, until today, entrepreneurial zones have had a positive impact on economic growth and development in many aspects. They reduce unemployment, inflate revenues into local cities and municipalities, raise the level of expertise, improve mutual communication and networking of entrepreneurs, encourage exports, enable greater recognition, especially of smaller local governments. However, the construction and establishment of entrepreneurial zones in practice hides numerous shortcomings, such as poor planning, failure to consider the needs of investors, restrictions on infrastructure, poor electricity supply and the like. These shortcomings are shown on the example of the entrepreneurial zone 'Ravča' from the area of the City of Vrgorac.
