Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada je detaljnije objasniti pojam elektroničkog bankarstva kao i sve usluge koje su povezane s navedenim pojmom. Na razvoj suvremenog gospodarstva danas neminovo utječe razvoj tehnike i tehnologije pa tako ni banke nisu izuzete od navedenog utjecaja. Posebno je internet taj koji ima odlučujući utjecaj na razvoj novih proizvoda i usluga u bankarskom sektoru kao i na promjenu u načinu komunikacije i posredovanja između banke i njenih klijenata. Još prije nekoliko godina bilo je potrebno za svaku pojedinu bankarsku uslugu fizički otići u poslovnicu banke, no danas je to promijenjeno zahvaljujući upravo elektroničkom bankarstvu. Bankarske usluge klijentima postaju dostupne praktički 24h i s bilo koje lokacije u svijetu, naravno ukoliko je dostupan internet. Ukoliko se usporedi broj korisnika elektoničkog bankarstva u Republici Hrvatskoj u odnosu na ostale zemlje Europske unije vidljivo je kako je taj broj još uvijek relativno malen i da u bankarskom sektoru postoji proctor za njegovo povećanje.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper was to get acquainted with the concept of electronic banking as well as all services related to this concept. The development of the modern economy today is inevitably influenced by the development of technique and technology, so banks are not exempt from this influence. In particular, the Internet has a crucial impact on the development of new products and services in the banking sector, as well as on changing the way of communication and mediation between the bank and its customers. A few years ago it was necessary to physically go to the bank for each individual banking service, but today that has changed thanks to electronic banking. Banking services become available to customers practically 24 hours a day and from anywhere in the world, of course if the internet is available. If we compare the number of electronic banking users in the Republic of Croatia in relation to other European Union countries, it is evident that this number is still relatively small and that there is free space for its increase in the banking sector.
