Abstract
Monopolistička konkurencija kao oblik tržišne strukture predstavlja mješavinu čistog monopola i savršene konkurencije. Na tržištu monopolističke konkurencije razlikujemo dugi i kratki rok ponašanja poduzeća. Poduzeća u kratkom roku diferencijom proizvoda ostvaruju veliki profit što privlači nova poduzeća da uđu u tu industriju, dok poduzeća u dugom roku ulaze konstantno, sve dok im je profit veći od nula. Ulaskom novih poduzeća na monopolističko tržište u kratkom roku, dolazi do zasićenosti tržišta i smanjenja profita, te poduzeća koja su manje razvijena i manje profitabilna izlaze iz industrije. U ovom radu opisano je tržište restorana kao primjer monopolističke konkurencije. Restorani kao industrija imaju veliku konkurenciju, te moraju dodatno razvijati uslugu, oglašavanje i općenito poboljšanje poslovanja kako bi ostvarili velike profite. To postižu analizom tržišta, određivanjem ciljane publiku te prema njima formiranjem daljnjeg poslovanja uz jedinstvenu ponudu hrane i usluge.
Abstract (english)
Monopolistic competition as a form of market structure represents a mix of pure monopoly and perfect competition. On the monopolistic competition market we find long and short company behavior deadline. Companies in the short deadline make big profit with differentiation of products which invites new companies to enter in this industry, while companies with long deadlines enter constantly, as long as their profit is bigger than zero. With new companies entering the monopolistic market in a short time, it comes to saturation of the market and profit decrease, so the less developed and less profitable companies get out of the industry. In this paper I have described restaurant market as an example of monopolistic competition. Restaurants as an industry have big competition so they have big competition so they have to additionally develop their service, marketing and in general business improvement in order to make big profits. They do that by analyzing the market, determining aimed clients and forming their business by them with unique offer of food and service.
