Abstract
Kvaliteta života je predmet mnogih istraživanja koja su započela šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća sa svrhom potrebe uključivanja različitih čimbenika koji utječu na kvalitetan život, a iz razloga što se ustvrdilo kako bruto domaći proizvod (BDP) ne predstavlja dovoljnu mjeru kojim bi se mogla odrediti kvaliteta života. Istraživanja se temelje na objektivnim i subjektivnim pokazateljima kao i kombiniranjem istih. Shodno tome, na temelju različitih istraživanja razvili su se brojni indikatori kvalitete života od kojih su u ovom radu izdvojeni: Indeks ljudskog razvoja (HDI), Legatumov indeks prosperiteta (LPI), Indeks kvalitete života, Indeks planetarne sreće (HPI), Indeks performansi u okolišu (EPI), Međunarodni indeks dobrobiti (IWI) i Indeks sretnih godina života (HLY) te je posebno promatrana kvaliteta života prema Eurostatu za Hrvatsku. Posljednji dio rada odnosi se na povezanost kvalitete života i sreće. Ujedinjeni narodi objavljuju Izvještaj sreće u svijetu (WHR) na temelju kojeg su izdvojene najsretnije i najmanje sretne zemlje te je promatran indeks pod nazivom Bruto nacionalna sreća (GNH) koja se koristi sa ciljem mjerenja sreće i blagostanja Butanaca.
Abstract (english)
Quality of life has been the subject of many studies that began in the 1960s with the aim of including various factors influencing quality of life, arguing that gross domestic product (GDP) is not a sufficient measure to determine quality of life. Research is based on objective and subjective indicators as well as combining them. Consequently, based on various studies, a number of quality of life indicators have been developed, of which the following have been singled out: Human Development Index (HDI), Legatum Prosperity Index (LPI), Quality of Life Index, Happy Planet Index (HPI), Environmental Performance Indeks (EPI), International Welfare Index (IWI) and the Happy Life Years (HLY) and the quality of life according to Eurostat for Croatia was especially observed. The United Nations publishes the World Happiness Report (WHR), which identifies the happiest and least fortunate countries. Bhutan developed an index called Gross National Happiness (GNH) which is used to measure the happiness and well-being of Bhutanese.
