Transport and storage of goods allow safe, efficient and economic delivery of various kinds of goods to entrepreneurs, which are crucial in production and distribution to the consumers. When talking about transport, goods and people are very first thoughts which come to our mind. Transport resources used in transport process are: vehicles, railway vehicles, aircraft and ships. The most common type of transport in Croatia is the road traffic, and right behind come railway transport. All goods that are being transported represent tangible and intangible good, which fundamental property is to harmonize and satisfy certain people requirements. However, that kind of good gets its property only when it becomes available by replacing or purchasing on the market. To even get to that type of goods, it has to be transported into storage. Storage are 2 defined places intented for keeping stored goods such as bulked one or packaging, which later have to be included in further transport, production, distribution or consumption. Storage can be fenced or unoccupied space, covered or uncovered, purpose of which is to store the raw materials, semi-fnished products or finished products at all. Goods in storage are being taken and shipped, and being monitored same as protected from all different types of physical, chemical and atmospheric impacts.
