Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada je teorijski obrazložiti i na praktičnom primjeru putničke agencije Adriagate prikazati specijalizaciju putničke agencije za privatni smještaj, koji predstavlja dominantan oblik smještaja u strukturi smještajne ponude u Republici Hrvatskoj. Specijalizacija putničkih agencija u Republici Hrvatskoj provodi se kroz projekt pokrenut od strane UHPA-e, u okviru kojega agencije prolaze edukacije iz područja specijalizacije. Osim edukacija moraju ispuniti kriterije koje UHPA propisuje za svaku vrstu specijalizacije te se obvezati na pridržavanje pravila profesionalnog i etičkog ponašanja u poslovanju. Specijalizacija je za putničke agencije važna jer im omogućava usmjeravanje poslovanja na uže tržišne segmente, čijim zahtjevima i željama onda putničke agencije mogu kvalitetnije prilagoditi svoju ponudu. U praktičnom primjeru predstavljena je putnička agencija Adriagate d.o.o. koja je specijalizirana za privatni smještaj.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis is to theoretically explain and show in the practical example of Adriagate travel agency the specialization of private travel agency, which is the dominant form of accommodation in the structure of the accommodation offer in the Republic of Croatia. Specialization of travel agencies in the Republic of Croatia is carried out through a project initiated by UHPA, within which agencies receive specialization training. In addition to training, they must meet the criteria that UHPA prescribes for each type of specialization, and must comply with the rules of professional and ethical conduct in business. Specialization is important for travel agencies because it enables them to direct their business to narrower market segments, whose requirements and wishes then allow travel agencies to better tailor their offer. In a practical example shows the travel agency Adriagate d.o.o. which specializes for private accommodation.
