Abstract
U današnjem svijetu nailazimo na novac, koji se pojavljuje kao osnovni element svakodnevnice za život. Novac je postao glavna funkcija plaćanja, glavno sredstvo razmjene, glavni instrument plaćanja. Novac je društveni odnos, što znači da postoji samo u okviru grupe ljudi kao sredstvo prihvaćeno od svih članova. Iako je novac zajednička kreacija cijelog društva, on predstavlja nešto eksterno u odnosu na pojedinca, a u realnosti se za sve javlja kao sasvim prirodna stvar. Iako je novčani oblik vrijednosti univerzalna karakteristika različitih sustava robne privrede, različiti oblici i vrste novca su se javili na različitim mjestima i u različito vrijeme. Novac služi kao regulator ekonomske aktivnosti i novčani oblici su odraz određene organizacije ekonomske aktivnosti putem robne privrede. U međunarodnim ekonomskim odnosima su česte situacije da u vanjskoj trgovini sudjeluju zemlje čije valute nisu promjenjive, ili se pak nalaze u platnim poteškoćama. U toj situaciji pribjegava se kompenzacijskim poslovima. Stabilnu vrijednost novca u jednoj privredi imamo kada domaći novac bez poteškoća obavlja svoje funkcije.
Abstract (english)
In today's world we find money as basic element of everyday life. Money has become main mean of payment, main instrument of exchange and main instrument of payments. Money is a social relationship, meaning that it is accepted by all members of society. Allthough money as is join creation of society it represent something that is external to every individual and in realty it comes as complete natural thing. Although monetary value is the universal feature of different commodity trading systems, different forms and types of money have appeared in different places at different times. Money serves as a regulator of economic activity and money forms are a reflection of a certain organization of economic activity through the commodity industry. In international economic relations, there are frequent situations that in foreign trade involving countries whose currencies are not variable or are in difficulties. Compensation jobs are used in this situation. Stable value of money in one economy is when domestic money without difficulty performs its functions.
