Abstract
Početkom 2020. godine, svijet se suočio s pojavom koronavirusa koji uzrokuje bolest COVID-19. U samo nekoliko mjeseci, pandemija se proširila na veliki broj zemalja, izazvavši značajne poremećaje kako u svakodnevnom životu ljudi, tako i na globalnoj razini ekonomije i gospodarstva. Poduzetnici su morali brzo reagirati i prilagoditi se novim uvjetima kako bi opstali na tržištu. Utjecaji na svjetsko gospodarstvo bili su ogromni. Globalno gledano, poduzetnici su se suočili s zatvaranjem poduzeća, padom prihoda i investicija, porastom štednje te rastom nezaposlenosti. Ovaj rad analizira utjecaje pandemije na mala, srednja i velika poduzeća na globalnoj razini. Kroz razna istraživanja, a posebno kroz primjer poduzeća BEN namještaj d.o.o. bit će prikazana nova ekonomska situacija te alternativni načini poslovanja koji su razvijeni tijekom pandemije.
Abstract (english)
At the beginning of 2020, the world faced the emergence of the coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19. Within just a few months, the pandemic spread to a large number of countries, causing significant disruptions both in people’s daily lives and on a global scale in terms of the economy and business. Entrepreneurs had to respond quickly and adapt to the new conditions to survive in the market. The impacts on the global economy were immense. On a global level, entrepreneurs faced business closures, declines in revenue and investment, increased savings, and rising unemployment. This paper analyzes the effects of the pandemic on small, medium, and large enterprises on a global scale. Through various studies, and specifically through the example of the company BEN Namje- štaj d.o.o., the new economic situation and alternative business practices developed during the pandemic will be presented.
