Abstract
U završnom radu obrađena je problematika valutne klauzule kao mjere za zaštitu od valutnog rizika, pri čemu je poseban naglasak bio na istraživanju valutne klauzule s aspekta potrošača. Teorijski dio završnog rada obrađuje sve aspekte valutne klauzule, njene prednosti i nedostatke i ulogu iste u zaštiti od valutnog rizika. Empirijski dio istraživanja proveden je obradom službenih podataka koje objavljuje Hrvatska narodna banka te je iz istog uočljivo kako je prisutna izrazita euroizacija Hrvatskog financijskog sustava, iako je u posljednje vrijeme prisutan trend smanjenja udjela euroizirane aktive/pasive u ukupnoj aktivi/pasivi financijskih institucija.
Abstract (english)
This paper examines the currency clause which serves as an instrument for hedging the currency, and is more oriented on questioning the currency clause from the consumers' side. Theoretical part of this pape examines all the aspects of the currency clause, its advantages and disadvantages along with the purpose of the clause in financial systems nowadays. Empirical part of this paper is done by collecting and processing official data published by Croatian national bank. Those data shows that the euroisation in significant percentage exists in Croatian financial system, although there has been a decreasing trend in the amount of euroised assets/liabilities of financial institutions in recent years.
