Abstract
Monopolistička konkurencija je tržišna struktura koja se nalazi između savršene konkurencije i čistog monopola. Postoji kratki i dugi rok ponašanja poduzeća. U kratkom roku poduzeća ostvaruju veliki profit i tako pivlače nova poduzeća, a u dugom roku poduzeća ulaze sve dok im profit bude veći od nule i poduzeća ostvaruju sve manji profit. Restorani su industrija sa velikom konkurencijom, te uz dobru uslugu i oglašavanje mogu se ostvariti visoki profiti. Novi restorani da bi opstali na tržištu i ostvarili tržišnu moć, moraju imati jedinstvenu uslugu ili ponudu hrane, uz to moraju dobro poznavati ciljanu publiku i prema njima određivati daljnje poslovanje. Promocija je neophodna za uspješno poslovanje restorana. Vlasnici restorana mogu birati između više elemenata kako se obratiti ciljanoj publici kako bi ostvarili zadane ciljeve i ostvarili konkurenciju. Kao primjer modernog restorana može se istaknuti zagrebački restoran Noel, koji svakodnevno pruža na meniju neponovljive slijedove hrane, svojstveno samo za taj dan. Glavni kuhari se žele posvetiti svakom gostu i pružiti mu jedinstveno iskustvo kako bi se ponovo vratio, a i potaknuti gosta da širi svoje iskustvo drugima, kako bi se čulo za restoran.
Abstract (english)
Monopolistic competition is a market structure that is between perfect competition and monopoly. There is a short and long-term business behavior. Within a short period of time, companies are gaining a lot of profit and are attracted by new businesses, and in the long run companies are entering as long as their profits are higher than zero and companies profit less.Restaurants are an industry with great competition, and with good service and advertising high profits can be achieved. New restaurants to survive on the market and gain market power, must have a unique service or food supply, so they need to know the target market well and determine their further business. Promotion is necessary for a successful restaurant business. Restaurant owners can choose between multiple elements to contact the targeted market to achieve the goals and achieve the competition. As an example of a modern restaurant, there is the Noel Restaurant in Zagreb, which serves daily on the menu of unrivaled food sequences, unique to that day. Major chefs want to dedicate to each guest and provide a unique experience to come back and encouraged guests to spread their experience to others in, to hear about the restaurant.
