Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je napraviti analizu postupka prekomjernog deficita, koji predstavlja korektivni ogranak Pakta o stabilnosti i rastu. Također, u radu će se objasniti postupak prekomjernog deficita Republike Hrvatske te mjera koje je Republika Hrvatska poduzela kako bi izašla iz postupka prekomjernog deficita. U radu su korištene znanstvene metode: deskriptivna metoda i metoda analize. Nakon provedene analize može se zaključiti da je Republika Hrvatska relativno brzo izašla iz postupka prekomjernog deficita jer je ostvarila napredak na području javnih financija, smanjenja proračunskog manjka te upravljanja javnim dugom. No, unatoč tome Republika Hrvatska bi se trebala posvetiti ostvarenju ostalih preporuka Vijeća što bi se pozitivno odrazilo na njen budući razvoj.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this 1rogres to make an analysis of the excessive deficit procedure, which represents the corrective arm of the Stability and Growth Pact. Also, the excessive deficit procedure of Croatia will be explained in the paper and the measures that Croatia took to exit the excessive deficit procedure. In the paper were used scientific methods: descriptive method and method of analysis. After the conducted analysis, it can be concluded that Croatia exited the excessive deficit procedure relatively fast because it has made a 1rogres sin the field of public finances, reducing the budget deficit and public debt management. But, despite that Croatia should devote to the fulfilling of other recommendations of the Council which would positively reflect on its future development.
