Abstract
Odvodnici prenapona su zaštitni uređaji koji se instaliraju u niskonaponskim električnim mrežama kako bi umanjili utjecaj prolaznih prenapona. Oni preusmjeravaju višak napona s osjetljive opreme, sprječavajući oštećenja uzrokovana događajima poput udara groma, sklopnih i privremenih prenapona. Pravilno postavljanj e, održavanje i odabir odvodnika za prenapone ključni su za zaštitu niskonaponskih mreža i osiguravanje njihove pouzdane operacije. U ovom će se radu objasniti njihov rad i primjena kao zaštita od prenapona u niskonaponskim sustavima.
Abstract (english)
Surge arresters are protective devices that are installed in low-voltage electrical systems to mitigate the impact of transient voltage surges. They redirect excess voltage away from sensitive equipment, preventing damage caused by events such as lightning strikes, switching operations, and temporary overvoltages. Proper installation, maintenance, and selection of surge arresters are crucial for safeguarding low-voltage systems and for ensuring their reliable operation. This paper will explain their functioning and applications as protection in low-voltage system.
