Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada je fuzija kao izvor energije. U radu se istražuje fuziju kao perspektivan izvor energije u kontekstu globalnih potreba za čistom i održivom energijom. Fuzija, proces u kojem se jezgre atomskih čestica spajaju i pritom oslobađaju ogromne količine energije, potencijalno nudi niskougljičnu alternativu fosilnim gorivima i nuklearnoj fisiji. U radu se analiziraju prednosti fuzije, uključujući nisku emisiju stakleničkih plinova, obilne izvore... More goriva i inherentnu sigurnost, ali isto tako i izazovi s kojima se susreće, poput tehničkih izazova, troškova i upravljanja otpadom. Razmotrene su posljedice politike i javnog mišljenja za razvoj fuzije kao izvora energije te smo još u radu opisali fuzijske eksperimente i projekte te tehnologije fuzijskih reaktora. Ovaj rad istražuje potencijal fuzije za transformaciju energetskog sektora i doprinos borbi protiv klimatskih promjena. Dok postoje izazovi koji zahtijevaju rješavanje, fuzija ostaje obećavajuća opcija koja zaslužuje daljnje istraživanje i razvoj kako bi se ostvario njen puni potencijal kao čista i obnovljiva alternativa tradicionalnim izvorima energije. Abstract (english)
The topic of this master's thesis is Fusion as an Energy Source. The paper explores fusion as a promising source of energy in the context of global needs for clean and sustainable energy. Fusion, the process in which atomic nuclei merge and release enormous amounts of energy, potentially offers a low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels and nuclear fission. The paper analyzes the advantages of fusion, including low greenhouse gas emissions, abundant fuel sources, and inherent... More safety, as well as the challenges it faces, such as technical hurdles, costs, and waste management. The implications of policy and public opinion for the development of fusion as an energy source are also considered. Furthermore, fusion experiments, projects, and fusion reactor technologies are described in the paper. This work explores the potential of fusion to transform the energy sector and contribute to combating climate change. While there are challenges that require resolution, fusion remains a promising option deserving further research and development to realize its full potential as a clean and renewable alternative to traditional energy sources.
