Abstract
Predmet ovog rada je istraživanje i analiza financijskih izvještaja poduzeća Plodine d.d. Poduzeće Plodine d.d. je hrvatski trgovački lanac koji posluje u sektoru maloprodaje prehrambenih proizvoda. U radu su obrađeni ključni financijski pokazatelji za proteklih nekoliko godina (2019. do 2021.). Financijska analiza uključuje korištenje raznih financijskih izvještaja – prije svega bilance i računa dobiti i gubitka. Bilanca prikazuje imovinu, obveze i vlasnički kapital poduzeća u određenom trenutku, a račun dobiti i gubitka sumira prihode i troškove poduzeća u određenom vremenskom razdoblju. Financijski pokazatelji su alati koji se koriste za analizu financijskog stanja i uspješnosti. Izračunavaju se omjeri jer na taj način se dobiva usporedbu koja može pokazati korisnijom od samih sirovih brojeva. Financijski pokazatelji mogu se podijeliti u nekoliko osnovnih grupa: likvidnost, aktivnost, zaduženost i profitabilnost. Niti jedan omjer nije sam po sebi dovoljan za realnu procjenu financijskog stanja i uspješnosti poduzeća. Međutim, s grupom omjera mogu se donijeti razumne prosudbe. Financijska analiza poduzeća Plodine d.d., uključujući i usporedbu sa sličnim poduzećima iz djelatnosti, pokazala je da poduzeće ima vrlo dobru aktivnost, prihvatljivu likvidnost i zaduženost, te dobru profitabilnost.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this work is the research and analysis of the financial statements of the company Plodine d.d. The company Plodine d.d. is a Croatian retail chain operating in the food retail sector. The paper deals with key financial indicators for the past few years (2019 to 2021). Financial analysis includes the use of various financial statements - primarily the balance sheet and income statement. The balance sheet summarizes the assets, liabilities, and owners’ equity of a business at a point in time, and the income statement summarizes revenues and expenses of a firm over a particular period. Financial ratios are tools used to analyse the financial situation and performance. Ratios are calculated to get a comparison that can prove more useful than the 4 raw numbers by themselves. Financial indicators can be divided into few basic groups: liquidity, financial leverage (debt), activities, and profitability. No single ratio is sufficient by itself for a realistic assessment of the company's financial condition and performance. However, reasonable judgments can be made with a group of ratios. Financial analysis of the company Plodine d.d., including comparison with similar companies from the industry, showed that the company has very good activity, acceptable liquidity and leverage and good profitability.
