Abstract
Vjetar je obnovljiv izvor energije, te se u vjetroelektranama pretvara u korisni oblik energije. Načini korištenja energije vjetra izazov su znanstvenicima diljem svijeta. Osnovni parametri vjetra i izbor najpogodnijih lokacija smjernice su za smještaj vjetroparkova. Vjetroparkovi postavljaju se na kopnu ili na moru. Na moru se postavljaju kao priobalne ili plutajuće vjetroelektrane. Vjetroagregatom se smatra uređaj kojim se kinetička energija pretvara u mehaničku, a zatim i u električnu. Prednosti i nedostaci vjetroenergije kao obnovljivog izvora očituju se kroz utjecaj na biološku raznolikost i ljude. Smatra se kako energija vjetra nikada neće nestati i nema štetan utjecaj na okoliš. Međutim, ne smije se zanemariti buka koju stvaraju lopatice i prepreke koje nastaju njihovom vrtnjom za ptice i šišmiše. Kontinuirano istraživanje obnovljivih izvora energije temelj je za stvaranje održivog elektroenergetskog sustava s ciljem očuvanja okoliša.
Abstract (english)
Wind energy is a renewable energy source which is converted into useful energy using wind turbines. Harnessing wind energy presents a challenge to scientists worldwide. Wind parameters and locality are guidelines for the optimal placement of wind farms. Windfarms can be installed on land and at sea. At sea, they can be placed as onshore or offshore wind farms. The wind turbine is a device that converts kinetic energy into mechanical energy and then eletrical energy. The benefits and disadvantages of wind power as a renewable source are seen through the impact on biodiversity and humans. It is observed that wind energy has no adverse impact on the environment and will never be consumed. However, the noise from the turbine blades and the barriers they pose to bird and bat migration cannot be ignored. Ongoing research on renewable energy sources is the foundation for the development of a sustainable energy network with the objective of preserving the environment.
