In the final paper, the subject of insurance damages in agriculture is explained. The aim of the work is to indicate the determination of compensation for damage in agriculture. When analyzing this topic, the basic terms related to insurance were theoretically explained in the theoretical part of the paper. an example of the determination of damages in Adriatic insurance is presented, where it is concluded that the amount of compensation from insurance of crops and plantations is determined on the basis of the sum insured, if the value of the crop is equal to the sum insured or greater than it, and the actual value of the crop if this value is less than insurance sums and percentage of damage for crops, plantations and fruits whose prices are not established on the market or by regulations, the calculation is performed at the agreed prices in the insurance policy. In the case of animal insurance, the resulting damage is calculated according to the value of the injured animal before the illness or accident that was the immediate cause of the damage and according to the actual (market) price admits.
