Abstract
U ovom završnom radu prikazana su obilježja turističke destinacije i turističke atraktivnosti otoka Brača. Opisan je otok Brač kroz njegova geološka i pedološka obilježja, obilježja klime otoka, obilježja prometne infrastrukture te kulturno povijesna baština otoka. Kao najvažnija stavka ovog rada je analiziran turizam otoka Brača kroz brojke i usporedbe s drugima konkurentnim turističkim destinacijama kao i povijesni pregled razvoja turizma otoka Brača. U radu se navode smjernice rada turističkih zajednica u kontekstu razvoja destinacija na otoku te je naveden zajednički projekt s kojim bi otok Brač u skorijoj budućnosti trebao postati jedan on najznačajnijih turističkih otoka jadranske obale.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper, the features of the tourist destination and tourist attractiveness of the island of Brač are presented. The island of Brač is described through its geological and pedological characteristics, the characteristics of the island's climate, the characteristics of the transport infrastructure and the island's cultural and historical heritage. As the most important item of this work, tourism on the island of Brač was analyzed through figures and comparisons with other competitive tourist destinations, as well as a historical review of the development of tourism on the island of Brač. The paper states the guidelines for the work of tourist boards in the context of the development of destinations on the island, and a joint project that shou ld make the island of Brač one of the most important tourist islands on the Adriatic coast in the near future is stated.
