Abstract
U ovom završnom radu zadatak je bio ispitati utjecaj toplinske obrade poboljšavanja na mehanička svojstva sivog lijeva. U teoretskom dijelu rada dane su općenite napomene o sivom lijevu i toplinskoj obradi poboljšavanja mehaničkih svojstava. Praktični dio sastoji se iz dva dijela. Najprije je izveden „izviđački“ pokus zbog nepoznatog kemijskog sastava raspoloživog sivog lijeva kao i snimanje mikrostrukture. Cilj je bio odrediti količinu ugljika u matrici sivog lijeva. U drugom dijelu proveden je pokus na više epruveta koristeći različite parametre toplinske obrade. Pokus se sastojao od kaljenja epruveta s pravilne temperature austenitizacije te naknadnog visokotemperaturnog popuštanja. Parametri pokusa koji su varirani uključuju temperaturu i trajanje popuštanja. Po završenom pokusu izvršena je statistička obrada dobivenih rezultata. Pokus je planiran i izveden korištenjem programa „Design Expert 13“.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, the task was to examine the influence of heat treatment on the mechanical properties of grey cast iron. In theory, general notes are given about grey cast iron and heat treatment to improve mechanical properties. The practical part consisted of two parts. First, a reconnaissance experiment was carried out due to the unknown chemical composition of the available grey cast iron as well as recording of the microstructure. The goal was to determine the amount of carbon in the cast iron matrix. In the second part, an experiment was conducted on several test tubes using different heat treatment parameters. The experiment consisted of tempering the test tubes from the correct austenitizing temperature and subsequent high-temperature tempering. The parameters of the experiment that were varied were the temperature and the duration of yielding. The experiment was planned and performed using the "Design Expert 13" program.
