Abstract
Sve boljom i pogodnijom situacijom u hrvatskom turizmu u zadnjem desetljeću, dolazi do razvoja specifičnih vrsta ove djelatnosti te do dopiranja turističke potražnje do regija koje prethodno nisu bile orijentirane prema uslužnim gospodarskim granama. Problemi masovnog turizma često se spominju kao velika prijetnja popularnim svjetskim turističkim destinacijama. Osim nezadovoljstva kod turista koji nemaju mogućnost uživati u svemu u čemu bi htjeli, do nezadovoljstva dolazi i kod lokalnih stanovnika i turističkih djelatnika. Narušavanjem svakodnevnih navika i načina života kod lokalaca stvara se loša slika i promidžba destinacije kojom turisti kod lokalnog stanovništva nisu dobrodošli. Osim stanovništva tih destinacija, na veliko iskušenje stavljeni su i lokalni hotelijeri, ugostitelji, turoperatori i ostali subjekti koji djeluju na lokalnom turističkom tržištu. Oni se moraju prilagođavati takvim trendovima i ukoliko je moguće u manjim koracima mijenjati turizamplan kako bi izbjegli daljnje opasnosti koje masovni turizam može uzrokovati (skuplji životni standard za lokalno stanovništvo, onečišćenja, oštećenja gradskih kulturnih resursa i slično). Dalmatinska zagora je jedna od regija koja svojim očuvanim prirodnim bogatstvima iz godine u godinu privlači sve veći broj segmenata koji žele nešto drugačiji i originalniji odmor. S obzirom na lošu industrijsku situaciju i sve učestalije iseljavanje mladih iz ove regije, turizam se zadnjih godina razvio i dao priliku za "restart" te pružio nove mogućnosti za napredak kojima bi se barem donekle iskoristili potencijali kojima Dalmatinska zagora raspolaže. Dalmatinska zagora najveći iskorak bilježi u broju smještajnih kapaciteta (uglavnom luksuznih vila sa bazenima). Osim samog smještaja koji se nudi gostima, nastoji se razviti destinacija koja njeguje običaje i kulturne resurse (Sinjska alka, Glumci u Zagvozdu) te se orijentira na sportsko-rekreativni i obrazovni turizam (Imotski bike & wine đir, Dalmacija storytelling destinacija).
Abstract (english)
Since the situation in Croatian tourism is getting better and more favourable during the last decade, there have been improvements in specific types of this industry and so tourism demand now reaches regions who haven't been oriented toward service industries so far. Mass tourism problems are often mentioned as a big threat for popular tourist destinations. Besides tourists unsatisfaction and not making it possible for them to enjoy in everything they would love to, there is also unsatisfaction raising among local population and tourism workers operating on domestic tourism market. With harmful effects on local lifestyle and habits, there is a negative image showing up just like destination's promotion under which tourists are not welcome by local people. Except local population, local hotel managers, caterers, turoperators and other market subjects who are related to to urism industry are also confronting a big challenge. They must adapt their businesses to such trends and gradually change destination's tourism - plan if it's possible, it is required to prevent further hazards that mass tourism can cause (more expensive life standards, pollution, cultural heritage damages and so on). Dalmatian Hinterland is a region that attracts increased number of tourist segments every year looking for different and more original vacation. Bad industrial image and frequent emigrations of youth from this region have given tourism a chance for a "restart" following its rapid development, there are various of new opportunities to use the potential this region has. Speaking of the biggest progress, Dalmatian Hinterland is making it in accomm odation capacities (mostly luxury villas with swimming pools). Except the accommodation itself, it is strove to create a destination cherishing traditional habits and cultural resources (Sinjska Alka, Glumci u Zagvozdu) and also to make this region sport and recreation and educational tourism oriented ( Imotski bike & wine đir, Dalmacija storytelling destinacija).
