Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada je Isplata dividendi poduzeća koja kotiraju na burzi u Republici Hrvatskoj. Politika dividendi predstavlja jednu od najkontroverznijih financijskih politka koju provodi menadžment kompanije pri čemu određuje visinu i način isplate dividendi kroz vrijeme. Ona nastoji dati odgovor na pitanje “Kako visina dividendi utječe na cijenu dionice?”. Iskristalizirale su se tri teorije o politici divdendi no jednoznačan odgovor ne postoji. Investitori ulaganjem u dionice može ostvariti dohodak iz dva izvora. Prvi izvor je kapitalna dobit a ona predstavlja razliku između kupovne i prodajne cijene dionice, drugi izvor je isplata dividende. Dividende predstavljaju bilo koju distribuciju vrijednosti koje kompanije vrše svojim dioničarima. Osnovni i najstariji oblik dividende je novčana dividenda, a postoje još otkup dionica i dionička dividenda. U današnjem vremenu poželjna je stabilna dividenda, a to znači da dividenda raste po razumnoj i predvidljivoj stopi.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this work is the payment of dividends to listed companies in the Republic of Croatia. Dividend policy is one of the most controversial financial policies implemented by the company's management, which determines the amount and method of dividend payment over time. It seeks to answer the question "How does the amount of dividends affect the share price?". Three theories about the dividend policy have crystallized, but there is no single answer. Investors can earn income from two sources by investing in shares. The first source is capital gain and it represents the difference between the purchase and sale prices of shares, the second source is the payment of dividends. Dividends represent any distribution of value that companies make to their shareholders. The basic and oldest form of dividend is cash dividend, and there are also share repurchases and share dividends. Nowadays, a stable dividend is desirable, which means that the dividend grows at a reasonable and predictable rate.
