Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada je „Audio Over IP“ što znači prijenos zvuka preko mreža koje su zasnovane na internet protokolu. Postoje VoIP (Voice over IP) rješenja koja prenose govor preko IP mreža. Često se događa da se poistovjećuju ta dva pojma. Kad kažemo Audio over IP mislimo na cijelu zvučnu sliku koju ljudsko uho može registrirati. Frekvencije zvuka koje čovjek čuje kreću se od 20 Hz do 20 kHz, dok za glas (voice) kojeg prenosimo IP mrežama raspon iznosi od 300 Hz do 3,4 kHz. Potrebno je napomenuti da je ovdje za razliku od VoIP-a riječ o nekomprimiranom audio signalu, što znači da koristimo digitalizrani audio PCM signal. U radu ćemo prikazati i razliku između Audio over Ethernet rješenja koja rade na drugom sloju OSI modela (Layer 2), i AoIP rješenja koja su kopleksnija i rade na trećem sloju OSI modela (Layer 3), pa zbog te činjenice možemo ostvariti kontribuciju izvan lokalne ethernet mreže.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this final paper is "Audio Over IP" which means the transmission of sound over networks based on the Internet protocol. There are VoIP (Voice over IP) solutions, which means voice transmission over IP networks. It often happens that people use these two terms interchangeably. When we say Audio over IP we mean the whole sound image that people can register. The frequencies of sound that a person can hear is in range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, while for the voice that we transmit on ip networks, the range is from 300 Hz to 3.4 kHz. It should be noted that, unlike VoIP, this is an uncompressed audio signal, so we use a digitalized PCM signal. We will also show the difference between Audio over Ethernet solutions that work on the second layer of the OSI model (Layer 2) while AoIP solutions are more complex and work on the third layer of the OSI model (Layer 3), so we can make a contribution outside the local Ethernet network.
